One of the most tuned-in groups of music aficionados – Clash Music, are this month’s Guest Controllers working alongside Topman Ctrl resident Huw Stephens, to scour the web and bring you the best new music out there and shine a light on their favorite bits. So far Clash Music have hand picked tracks from the likes of The Invisible, XXYYXX and Wiley and put them straight into The Feed for all to see and experience. Busting at the seams with videos, news stories and an exclusive download of Wiley’s ‘It’s All Fun And Games Till. Volume 1’, there’s plenty to please your eyes and ears! From France via Bristol, Francois & The Atlas Mountains are one of the hottest new acts around and the band headed into the woods with Topman Ctrl to film some exclusive live sessions for www.topman.com/ctrl. Their beautiful and dynamic track ‘Edge of Town’ features some pretty unconventional percussion instruments, filmed at the wonderful Eye O’ The Dug Festival in Scotland.

Seamus Fogarty hails from the west of Ireland and writes songs about mountains that steal t-shirts, women who look like dinosaurs and various other unfortunate incidents. Topman Ctrl tracked him down at Eye O’ The Dug Festival and recorded an exclusive performance of his moving track ‘Christmas Time On Jupiter’.  Check it out right here!

More acts announced for this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
For the first time, the Festival welcomes the sensational Jessie J, who will bring her pure ghetto pop fabulosity to the Main Stage. Headlining the Big Top on Saturday will be groundbreaking dubstep pioneers Magnetic Man.

On Friday June 22nd, the Big Top will see some massive performances under its roof, with the addition of Harlem-bred vocalist Kelis and the inimitable Caro Emerald. Next up, joining the Big Top line up on Saturday June 23rd will be the provocative London-based girl group, Stooshe.

Over on The Garden Stage the charisma-firework that is Miles Kane as well as the theatrically indie sound of The Real D’Coy perform on Saturday June 23rd, plus LA trio Best Coast and Dry the River on Friday.

For the third year running The London Ice Sculpting Festival took place at London’s iconic Canary Wharf and Amazing were on site to see Portugal crowned as the winners of 2012.

Carving to the theme Winter Sports, the Festival saw teams from the UK, France, Hungary, Portugal, Africa, Bulgaria, Belgium and Sweden create dazzling and unique sculptures from giant 2meter blocks of ice.

With designs ranging from Africa’s elegant Ice Skaters to Frances’s radical snow boarder all the teams showcased their artistic flares much to the delight of the spellbound spectators.

With another year of exquisite carving completed and a fresh new trophy for Portugal, The London Ice Sculpting Festival signs off until next year.
